Thanks guys, fortunately am at home, but it was the third stop light that got me started on this whole adventure....just spent the best part of 30 mins manually draining the battery compartment with chamois, now dry. Fortunately the battery is on a slightly raised platform within the compartment...

The strange thing is none of the carpeting in the boot or any of the interior is wet or even damp at all. Not impressed by this I have to say.

So, I go outside in the dark and open the boot of my GT to try and get at a fuse to get the third stop light (which is permanently on at the moment) to go out....while I am peering round at the battery compartment in the back I notice a lot of moisture and what looks like condensation on the...

Thanks c, excuse the ignorance, but how do I turn the battery off please? FYI, and I am sure you know the light I am talking about it - it's officially referred to as the third stop light? Can I not pull a fuse for this?

Thanks catman, have been sitting in it now and no clue what is going on....the "position lights/low beams" light on the dash is on when I switch on...but the parking lights are not on. Troubling as I know it's going to kill the battery.

Hi all, Here's a strange one - my rear window brake light remains on after I have switched and locked the car!? Any ideas? Is there a setting I have inadvertently missed or is this a sign of something else? Low battery perhaps? Any help appreciated, this will flatten the battery I am sure...
