Glad it went to someone on the forum, not least because it stops me continually checking my bank account to see if I had enough. I never did :0036:
Hope you enjoy it!
Absolutely - it was the first thing I had done on my 156. The stock differentials are a bit of a weak point mechanically as well, so you win in terms of performance and reliability :)
Couldn't resist sending an email, just out of interest :-)
As expected, the seller is looking for something more in the region of 65000 euros. The car does look beautiful though...
Sorry I won't be able to make it for this one - shame really since all my tyres need replacing anyway so I might as well finish them off :p
Hope you all have a great time :)
Just in case anyone was interested in the original GS posted, I got a response to an email:
"The car has a full main dealer plus 2 specialists service record. It has recently been serviced roughly 2000 miles ago. The clutch was changed approx.6,000 miles ago. The car is in superb condition."...
Haven't planned anything yet but am thinking about staying up the night before so would like to join you if poss. Will confirm once I get things sorted.
I didn't know if the AO thread was still active so thought I'd sign up to the original source :)
GSFan - I will try to dig out some pics. She is a filthy beast at the moment... I want to get her valeted properly so have been holding off, but haven't yet gotten around to actually booking her in :(
Thanks Andy - yeah if you can send me details then I'll try to get so money to you :)
Will be bringing the 156 GTA. I'll have to see if I can eek out the current set of front tyres till June!
