That's exactly the advice I have been given elswhere so looking at this one https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/234174520574?hash=item3685e39cfe:g:sokAAOSwtNxhHL5~ . Vendor says full-service history and new (ish) clutch. Horrid photo though.
Only driven a 4200 so far and understand the 3200 is a bit rawer. We have a large Italian community in Bedford that loves their cars have you heard of https://www.autosportivoltd.co.uk/ ?
Hi, not far. I'm in Bedford. I saw a manual 3200 today that just happens to be down the road, not for sale, but even keener to enter the mark now. A lovely green one on Gumtree (£14250) but the reg doesn't come up on DVLA. Maybe on a private plate.
Thanks Phil, agree about the interior. Better than black on black though. I had a black on black GTi and it was like sitting in a coal bunker.
A nice part of the country you are in.
Thanks. Excuse my ignorance but would that be a problem?
I saw three 4200 go at auction today all for silly money £7.2, £7.6 and £8.6. Just don't know what to pay just now and the one in the link had a new clutch 2 years ago.

I'm a newbie so please excuse any mistakes.
Many thanks
