Thanks! :)
I will pick her up on saturday, and drive her home for 1100km over twisty Italian roads, Austrian mountain passes and a long German autobahn.
Should be an impressive drive. I will make lots of pictures.
And now I have to figure out how you post pictures on this forum. :)
Last week I closed the deal on the Ferrari 612 Scaglietti. The car is in an immaculate condition and was previously owned by a 74 (!) year old notary, who picked up the car new at the factory in 2005.
Currently the car is at Ferrari in Brescia for a last inspection, and I will probably pick it...
Would you guys also be interested in hearing my experiences with the manual 612 after I have seen it on thursday? Or will you immediately ban me to the Ferrari section?
I am curious to feel the manual gearbox. The one thing that I always fight with in the 3200 is the gearbox. It is just not as...
I am very much in doubt. :)
I contacted a Maserati dealer about a beautiful Maserati GT-S twice, but they never bothered to contact me back. On the other hand I was immediately contacted by a Ferrari dealer about a lovely 612 Scaglietti with a rare manual gearbox.
Don't know why, but the manual...
Hi all,
I am thinking about making a step "up" in to the GranTurismo S scene. :)
The 612 Scaglietti is another consideration (but that car would be very expensive to run in Belgium). My 10 year old boy however prefers the looks of the GT-S over the Scag. :)
I have an idea about the service...
Holy smack, I never knew that!!!
I like the gearbox and the looks of the GS, but I am not a big fan of the spacy textile that they have used in many of the Gransports. I am in the market for an upgrade and was looking at the Gransports for sale, but most of them (full leather) are outside my...
It is a pity to see it go Mark. But the 575 F1 is absolutely a fabulous replacement.
Welcome Paul. I hope you will enjoy the car just as much as Mark did.
Lovely 3200 in those pictures btw :)
Will pick up the Maserati again today. My mechanic told me it was a failing oil pressure sending unit. I think he means the sensor with that. :)
It was indeed a couple of hours work (which adds to the price :) ), but I am happy that it was nothing serious.
The weather is lovely today. Can't...
The oil is just below half on the stick. I will top it up today. There is no oil leak.
When I start it up cold the oil pressure is fine. And even when hot it was good when I was standing in front of a traffic light.
The moment I drove up my driveway the problems started again.
Well let's hope...
Normally mine also jumps right up to 5 bar and stays there all the time.
This morning I started the car again. The oil pressure jumped right to 5 and stayed there for the whole time. I first let it idle for 10 minutes and then drove for about 20km. But the moment that I returned home and drove...
Hi all,
HELP!!! :)
Today I drove the Maserati 3200GT for about an hour. When I returned home and waited for the garage o open I noticed that the oil pressure light was on. The pressure was really low (below 2). When I revved the car the pressure went up and down again.
I restarted the car...
