So are the Alfa 8C and California, but those are using much shorter floorpans closer to the 4200s 104 inch wheelbase. The GTs wheelbase is around 115 inches. If you think of it in terms of Aston Martins, what Maserati has done is essentially replace a V8 Vantage with a DB9 sizer car.

I can vouch for the manual GTAs being LHD. A lot of those have ended up in the UAE. Initially I thought the Japanese liked having the steering wheel based on the cars country of origin but then I saw many japanese spec Jaguars, Bentleys and RRs in LHD.

Anyone know if a failing door lock affects the wjndow dip mechanism? I’ve got a failed drivers door that shows the exact symptoms, have not gone around to fitting the new lock yet.

Not really a fan of the 3200 bonnet, its nice on the turbo car but I like the bulge of the 4200 bonnet. The rear lights however... such a shame they got rid of these lights.

I don’t think you quite got what I meant. the 3200 conversion would need the fabrication and bootlid, with this you can avoid it if you add a cover piece in place of the original rear lights. The gen 1 XK does a similar trick with one tuning company doing an insert for a round light conversion.

It seems easier to do than the 3200 conversion at least, with that you need a new bootlid and a lot of fabrication. This one seems to have an insert on the original rear light area, along with taillights from what I assume is the Alfa Romeo MiTo (which are also used in the 4C). If you do it...
