Thank you that is a a great help, due to the madness of the UK leaving the EU I will not be able to use Autoclim to rebuild the compressor but I can source a new one.

Just had my 3200 AC wheels done there, they stored the car for 4 days and refurbed the wheels in the factory colour. £774 inc vat including two new tyres on the front and the extra charge for the custom colour paint. I would thoroughly recommend them.

Does anyone have information on how difficult it is to change the air con compressor on a 3200? I am not going to do it myself but I am just interested in finding out how difficult it is.

The condenser and drier were replaced about 6 months ago with genuine Maserati items, the system blows ice cold its just the noise from the compressor that is annoying.

Thanks for the reply, it does indeed seem to be the AC compressor. Does anyone know how easy it is to change ?

I have found a couple of "how to" guides on here regarding the heater matrix and fan and will give it a go later this month.

I was thinking it could be a slight increase in voltage as the revs increase, I can't really think of anything else.

The heater blower motor on my 3200 GT is making an annoying droning sound that rises and falls in line with the engine revs, I am guessing I am going to have to replace it and at the same time renew the heater matrix as a precaution, does anyone have an idea of the work involved ? I am not to...

Changing handbrake shoes, probably more Weetabix needed as I couldn't budge them with a standard spanner.

Does anyone have any tips on removing the two 19mm bolts holding the caliper to the disc ? I have tried an extra long ring spanner but as I don't have access to a lift and am using axle stands the spanner touches the floor so that solution doesn't work.

The one I bought was a 4200 one and it had stitching around the binnacle although it was white stitching whereas the old one had black stitching.
