Sorry to hear the news, Matt and Ash. While I wasn't able to use your services, Ash was kind enough to consult me over the phone while I was inspecting my car on a lift during the purchase process. His enthusiasm was infectious and his expertise was great, and I have to say, she has been a good one. So thank you for the virtual help and I really hope it will work out for all of you at the end. I wish I could help, but the premises that I know to accept motor trade are in London, near Dagenham, which I am guessing is too far for you and the rest of the boys...

Not good to read this news Matt, and I am sure very tough for you, Ash and the rest of the team to endure. The value of your asset must surely be in the brand and your happy customer base so hopefully you can pick up again soon. Good luck and look forward to hearing about SI Mk2.

I'm shocked and saddened to learn of this. For me SI has embodied the best features of an independent specialist - run by enthusiasts for their fellow enthusiasts.

Sincere thanks to Matt, Ash and everyone at SI for their excellent work in the past and very best of luck in your quest to re-launch SI soon.

Very sad to hear this, though we never physically met.

@Ewan and @jebroni 's suggestions seem really good, and in case that wouldn't be something you'd consider, is there anything the community on here can do to help?

Never used you guys as based in NI but planned on a trip soon for a clutch change.

Brutal news to hear and I hope you get sorted soon! The landlord rights in England are appalling compared to NI.
