An elderly friend of mine is looking to sell his 2014 QP VI. He bought it as an ex-demo from HR Owen, so is a good spec model with then just one private owner. He has used it largely to travel between his UK and Italy homes, as a comfortable but quick cruiser that can manage 650 miles on a tank. It’s the V6 diesel version, has full main dealer history (some from the UK network, some from his local Maserati MD in Umbria). 40,000 miles. Silver exterior, with black interior.

I’ll be selling it on his behalf, at £23,995 - easily the cheapest on the market of this spec and mileage.

Ideal for someone wanting something a little larger, more comfortable, newer and more economic than a QP V.

I’ll probably collect it this weekend, so I’ve no pictures until then.

That is a cracking price! If we hadn't just added a Ghibli, would have made a cracking Wedding car too!

Interestingly enough Phil, it’s the same owner that had the silver QP V that I, then you, bought. So rock solid provenance. Way more room in the back than the Ghibli, and nicer ride too.

That's something I had not thought of....3rd seat belt in the back....Surely a car that big would have 3 in the back ?

I think you could pay extra to have only 2 in the back, but they then get extra toys in the back. For me to convince people at home 3 seats are key, trying to suggest this is a good alternative to the people carrier!

There was the choice of 2 rear seats with a dividing fixed arm rest, or 3 seats (the back of which splits and folds so you can load long items, such as skis, through the boot). This car has the 3 seat option.

By the way Phil, when Maserati launched this car in the UK in 2013 they used a silver car. Just as they had when they launched the GT in 2007, and even the QP IV way before that. So the word you’re looking for when describing this colour is timeless.

It certainly would make a very stylish alternative to a typical bland people carrier.

I’ll be seeing, and possibly collecting, this car on Friday.
