QP V - clock?

Clock in my duo-select has stopped and won't start.
Reset the time several times.
Any ideas?
Perhaps two weeks with a dead battery did something?
Costs to replace?

Why does Maserati put such a crappy piece of plastic clock in there?
For a centre-piece in the car they could have gotten beautiful clocks done in stainless steel.
Really lets down the car when you notice the plastic hands. And now I have to replace it.

Cannot help with the first bit sorry, but the Also bit - well my 07 (auto) QPV clock does not look crappy, it may still be plastic not sure but it looks fine to me. Perhaps I am easily pleased. The clock in the QPV1 is tiny in the centre of the dash and looks odd.
