Morning all, a spot of admin first (awaiting a pre 10 am delivery), load up at the container then off to site to make a net later, but thankfully local today.

Have fun all...

Morning,

Day in the office then a trip over to Leeds through the rush hour traffic to empty my wallet and pick up the Ghibli with its new brake discs. In the meantime I have a 435d to potter about in.

AROC monthly meeting later as well so a busy day.

Have a great day all

...they don't want to go to jail.
Reminds me of the time when the school suddenly gave my 7-year-old a day off - turns out that Ofsted was inspecting the school that day.
But iut's me who is the responsible person (can you believe that!) not them. Cowards!

Good morning everyone,
CAA Audit today...and I'm doing an early too (see above) It's not my favourite week this one...

Small world. One of my colleagues from another business unit just wandered over 'I think you know one of my friends'

Turns out they were playing golf and discussing work, and when Experian came up, said friend mentioned me :)

Morning all. After a day spent mainly on motorways yesterday I have 30 minutes in the office then off to take Joseph to the hospital for his 12 month check up and head scan (as he was premature) . Can't believe he's almost 1!

Morning, more work, got to drop some more brake discs to RichTaps today en route to curry night with the boys. Day off tomorrow, Brera drivers wing mirror now not folding so need to fiddle with that and I have a guy from Ireland who's keen on her.

Blast from the past not been there for a few years, it was where Selfridges DC was based

Had a budget review with the powers that be at DHLTradeteam head office. Loads of DHL depots there these days. Was late as was 200 yards from the depot and a car crashed into an artic and caught on fire.

At least they could see your excuse!

Mark, belated HapPea birthday! Sorry I missed it in time. (Hope you don't mind me saying that in the evening on a good morning thread)

I'm driving around Europe for the week. Just gone from Maastricht to Verzy in Champagne. Unfortunately arrived too late to get a bottle for the evening. Tomorrow will be a fun trip the rest of the way towards Paris.

Well, driving through the Ardennes region with a low sun and the Autumn colours was absolutely stunning!

Well, now it is "bonjour" from me. I'm pleased to report that, on my return to my B&B, I found some of the proprietor's own champagne in the guests' bar fridge. Can't complain at a whole bottle of grand cru champagne for €15 hey? Blimmin' nice stuff.
Today I just have to get to the edge of Paris where I'll stay for the next two nights in order to take the train in for meetings. I think I'll be making several rest stops on the journey as it's very easy to get lost in the area ;).
HapPea Wednesday!
