Noticed a new Stradale up for sale today and it has black leather with white alcantara. Anyone seen something like this in the flesh. Seems quite interesting but can imagine the white alcantara being a nightmare to keep clean? Leather seems okay to clean but never had alcantara. Here’s a picture. What do you think?56226

Looks lovely. As you say hard to maintain but bright and eye catching

GC didn’t endear me when I called in to see a Strad last year, I wouldn't buy a car from them based on lack of prep of the car on their forecourt. Massive staff turnover too speaks volumes...

Me too, I’ve asked them about prep and they just say they will sort anything out.
I made them what I thought was a reasonable offer on a car they had, laughed at me and were a bit off, imagine my surprise when they dropped it to within 1k of my offer, and rang me.
Guess how much I laughed and politely declined....

That attitude grates on decent buyers.

Seen this colour interior in the flesh and it looks stunning.

Good to know. I had a Porsche with this colour combo but in leather and I wasn’t always convinced but maybe with the alcantara it’s a bit more subtle. Certainly different

Yep, they said the rear bumper had damage to it but they have an on-site body shop which would repair all damage prior to purchase

A shame. They seem to have been better than other garages in the early stages but would appear they let themselves down in following through where it matters

There are no pictures of it on the GC Motors website, but I see the white one they had appears to have sold. In my experience, alcantara is hard wearing and easy to clean, so if this was to be a weekend fun car, it wouldn’t be hard to keep it looking good. But maybe avoid wearing brand new dark jeans!

Yes, I was considering that one but decided I want black or grey, preferably with the exterior carbon pack too

Serendipity.
There are only 4 or 5 stradales in Chile and I was hooked when I saw one at a used car dealers. The salesman, about 1/3 of my age, thought he had me hooked once he started the thing up and hit the race button. Truth is, he had. So a long and painful negotiation started, in which he would simply ignore my emails and whatsaps. His car had 25k Kms, was a liitle scruffy, and had a wheel blowout that had been repaired, albeit at the MD. This went on for about a month, until I just couldn't bare to see the guy again. Browsing the internet, another car turned up, identical, but new condition, 13K Kms. Bought it for the same price as my offer to the tedious dealers and brought it home. The dealer whatsapped me a week after I got her home, informing me he had, maybe, some good news on my offer. I sent him a picture of my new car as a reply. :) A sweet moment!

Excellent, I’m no brain surgeon, business guru, but, in the car business, surely, if. People are offering 60k ish on a car, you want a little slice of that 60k repeatedly, treat the, well, look after them, keep em coming back, rather make a little now and hopefully ebcorage further business, dunno,
