Still got my Italian designer one that I bought secondhand off eBay in 2011 it's been shipped to New Zealand moved 3 times there and now in France and still looks good in white leather.

We've got an old DFS one that is about 12 years old. Lightly used and looks OK (apart from the cats). One we had before was much the same after rather heavier use.

We also have a massive oak framed job that was given to us by some old friends who'd had it for 15 years, but we loved it so much we didn't let them throw it. We've had it for over 5 now. It's still in fine nick. Might need some stuffing in the cushions, but that's it. I suspect we'd get it recovered before throwing it.

Must have cost thousands.

Happy birthday Dorothy @GeoffCapes and Mrs Z.

More decorating today. Joy of joys.

All these birthdays on the witching hour.....hope everyone had a fun day on their birthday even in this madness......My Mums yesterday as well...79......

Anyway, good morning all. I Imola today. So glad to see F1 at the older tracks. So much better than the new sterile ones. Will be odd watching a race here again after memories of Senna....

Morning all and a balmy 17° here this morning coffee in bed and trying to keep the kitten calm.
Two days into lockdown and it's very quite.
Doing a few things outside yesterday and no one around at all.
Stay Safe all.

Morning all. Hit the bike this morning while Mrs C tries to get to church for the last time for a month.

Then we might see if we can go for coffee or lunch.

Have a good one, all

Morning all, thanks for the various advice, went out last evening and spent over £7.5k on furniture! At Oak Furniture Land in the end, the build quality won through and the Italian designer stuff just couldn’t be figured as vfm.

today I WILL make it to the garage and as a minimum I’ll put the winters on the GS.

Have fun all...

Finally put the winters (4200 wheels) on, 3 off at within 0.1 bar of storage pressure, one didn’t register but more worrying is both rear GS tyre completely flat, one I know is a split in the rim the other is a mystery! Anyway tyres will be off this week and I’ll get them refurbished over the winter. I have a spare rim to replace the split one.

thinking I may not put them back on but keep them refurbished in boxes and stick some after market rims on there instead, they are so fragile it seems.

Fragile? Warm chocolate has better damage resistance.

Good morning all. Day one of my 10 days off although it will not seem like it as today will be planning how we keep the work forever in work with lockdown looming. Mad thing is no deliveries in England but Wales is open next week.....These idiots in charge of our nation need to get together and all do the same....Here we go again.

Morning Andy and all.
Certainly very stressful times for many at the moment and a lot of high gambling stakes for sure.
Try and enjoy your time off with your immediate family.
Stay Safe all.

Morning all, St. Bins placed at the boundary early to appease the winds. I’ve got a run out to get the tyres off the GS rims and some other minor jobs to do.

Have fun all...

Morning all, certainly was blowy yesterday but settled down today.

Pre Christmas / winter fitness routine starts today less in more out - home gym and exercise routines need to buy the turbo trainer

Also need to pull the winter tyres out of storage for fitment in the next week or so

Morning, all. It was blowing a hooley out there last night. Amazingly, everything outside seems to be more or less where we left it.

Today, a bit of work then finish decorating and touching up the hall and downstairs dunny.

Tyres off, one split rear rim and one knackered rear tyre; caused by a screw ingress borderline major but had been run flat so sidewalls done for! 2,000 miles old!

Booger!

At least you're local to Elite. Hugely impressed with that lot for tyres, alignment and their fancy voodoo balancing tricks.

Will we be voting for Newton's Next Rims once you've shortlisted a few possibles?
