...cars all done ready for some fun as soon as we get out of this mess?

What jobs have you done over lockdown and what have you left to do?

I’ll start:

complete carbon upgrade on the interior:

  1. door trims
  2. dash trim
  3. clocks
  4. paddles
  5. centre consul
  6. 1&R unit
Finally got the major service/Underseal/bushes/CCM front pads done in the Autumn

Left to do?
It is time to do some repainting of the front end, it’s looking a little scruffy. Might redo the wheels, not curbed but stone chips from engaging warp factor 3.

Conaero are you going for real carbon or dipping the existing trim?

Where to start.

Merc, need to sort various bits of paint as it’s looking like a geriatric mobile

Cooper, new steering rack as the bushes are worn and old springs back in as last year’s change didn’t work.

Corvette,

Got Voicey to fit my new valved Larini's with valve remote control on the 4200 while in for annual service a few months back. The car is perfect as normal and a few hundred miles each year doesn't change its condition much year to year now

However looking back I have done a fair bit to her over the years. The secondary decat, then painted GS alloys from silver to Grigio Mercury. Then new OEM 4200 Carbon Fibre Steering Wheel and FD Carbon Fibre extended paddles.

Not been even through a set of rear tyres yet!

Got a new bonkers TVR though.

OEM carbon. I’ve been acquiring it over the past year and got round to finally fitting it with Roland sending the refurbed 1&R button last week.

Meh. I have spent more time upgrading my mountain bike as all I am doing in my free time is laps around the local woods.

Last thing I did was replace the handbrake lever on the 4200 as the ratchet had worn. Still have a few things to do on it but not in a hurry.
