Just feel I would like a bit more time and data before making a decision. I feel I'm being pushed/pressured into what I think is a decision that needs some consideration. Which I feel is unfair.

I spend more time picking a toaster than most have taken to decide. However the UK took how long to sort out the Brexit fiasco?

If I felt I didn't want to take the risk of having a vaccine which I feel is my right, it seems that would be very unpopular and would be deemed wrong also socially irresponsible.

It’s your right to take as long as you want to make the correct decision for you.
No one else matters.

If getting other people’s opinions makes you feel under pressure one way or another, I would suggest not asking other people’s opinions (or reading them) and doing what you feel is best.

Maybe talk to your GP rather than a car forum.

I was just trying to find others that might be in the same position and have some discussion that might be useful.

I'm not sure that a GP will offer this and suspect the only thing I would expect them to say is to take the vaccine but thanks for your help.

It's a bit like having a vasectomy.
You read up about it and only read the very small % of those that have problems following the vasectomy.
You then have the vasectomy that is walk in and sort of walk out, all in the space of 30 minutes!
You suffer a little pain during this time, and for the next few days you feel a little poorly, with maybe a little swelling. Just like having the jab, your arm can be sensitive, and you can also feel a little poorly for a few days!
Afterwards you are a free man! and just like having the jab, you have to make a return visit to the surgery, to make sure you are a totally free man!
Does that help the decision process?

I’ve got to be honest Dean, I could make a list of people who contribute here and their view, blindfolded (whether you could read it or not is another matter). There is no meaningful discussion on this subject left, just the regular restating of those views, all nuance is lost. Here and on the “are you worried” version.

If you haven’t found your answer yet, you won’t find it here. Everyone who has made the choice has done so based on their own situation (personal experience, level of trust etc). I would encourage you to do the same.

Thanks for that.....yes all helping. It is hard for me as I'm not a fan of medication very much so a firm believer of a fairly healthy diet, body and mind is often a great preventer of many ailments.....not major disease of course!

I don't want to go down the rabbit hole of relying on medication and all sorts of things every year or more often possibly for the rest of my life for something that in the main seems reasonably harmless to the majority.

I'll take a bit more time and will look for more data over time. I'm not against the vaccine at all and feel it is a good idea just wary at the moment due to the speed it has all happened.

I don't see a vaccination as medication though.
My daughter had over £500 of vaccinations early last year for a planned trip to India with the school, that never happened of course.
Where would we be in this world if vaccinations had never been discovered? Probably a large chunk of us would probably be dead!

This is unlikely to be an issue for Dean though is it? Unless they chloroform him, which seems unlikely.
Good point... I’m now far more concerned about him being rohypnoled as I hear he’s a handsome chap.

Trying to get a vaccination that is inside the M25 for me is proving difficult! Also not keen on the ZA for obvious reasons as the younger gen seem more affected by any complications!

Only on here can we go from Covid 19 vaccinations to Vasectomies.
I have had both.
The first as I know I will have to travel at some stage.
The second as I don't need the stress of more children.
