So my interior is in pretty rough and needs some work. Right now it is a tan (cuoio) colour which is actually my favorite on these cars. It is also half tech cloth which I plan on replacing with leather.

The process of reupholstering is obviously quite costly if you want it done right (i.e. no vinyl) which made consider this:

Eurospares has a full set of a left hooker GS interior for £1600

Im assuming its in decent condition given its out of a lower mileage car and it has the benefit of being OEM as reupholstered seats are never 100% as factory. I like the MC12/MCV vibe the blue gives but I much prefer the tan which is like the older Ferrari models.

I have the full leather headliner to be installed either way, and my steering wheel needs refurbing in either option.

Not sure yet how logistics on shipping would be but LCL sea freight isn’t too costly. I asked eurospares for the dimensions so I don’t know the exact price yet.

Would really like more opinions here as I’m on the fence, I prefer the tan colour I have but the originality aspect of the other colour and possibly price advantage makes it a tempting option.

What is the exterior colour of your car?
Its Nero Pastillo (gloss black) so most colours will go well.

I don’t like the Eurospares interior at all.

Have you spoken to refurb companies? They can do amazing things. Just dye/paint

I’m in saudi arabia so the amount of good shops isn’t as much as in the UK, i have spoken to a few but the issue is the leather is quite dry. Does repainted leather have a different texture or smell by the way?

Eurospares does have an all black interior, but in my opinion one of the best features of the 4200 range is the interior design and colour variety and black doesn’t make it pop as much. At least the blue is interesting and I like two tone on this car.

Have to say, I'd go with a trimmer. I much prefer your interior than the GS. Not that the GS is bad but....

I suspect you'd save money going to a trimmer as well

Just like new leather. Or at least BMW/Merc type leather.

Have you looked on eBay. There was a full burgundy GS interior not long back.
I believe that one is the soprano stu car which was only the center dashboard.

Haven’t dealt with stu before but on average his prices are almost 2x of Eurospares.

No it was the full lot including seats.

Can’t seem to find it online although the burgundy interiors are nice on this car.

It seems that most favor a retrim, I do too because the tan is much nicer.

Tomorrow I’m going to another place to see to get an estimate and also expecting eurospares to answer, then I’ll be able to know the cost.

My issue with blue is that its a little too close to 80s GM...

That eurospares interior would be a no from me, I dare say you'd be paying the saudi tax on trim shops out there though there must be places that do it for normal cars , I've seen videos on youtube where they're repaired torn leather and you can't tell where it was when they've finished , I'd sooner spend more getting exactly what I wanted than compromise with a that'll do interior

You look at the inside every time you get in it

Personally I like the tan contrast against the black exterior.
I’m not a fan of that second hand interior.

Ditto on the tan for me.

If that is your preference and you are like me, every time you get in it you would be thinking 'why didn't I go for the one I wanted' - the sweetness of a bargain is soon outlived by the bitterness of poor quality - or something like that!
