Go try it on your car. You don't need 7000 rpm for it shift harder. Stay below 7000 but go wide open throttle. You'll see engagement is much faster.

The original classico gearbox map is quick enough for me.

With you there Mike loved my Classico it was ashame they softened it up in my opinion.

How does it compare to the GS? I’d assume it would be just as quick if not faster.

My opinion having driven a few is the Classico is the best driving experience when driven hard and I tracked mine.
A GS is certainly special.
Can't be that many Classico left now.

Yeah there was a noticeable difference from my 02 to the 04 car with the early one being my favourite.
