Their quirky engineering is growing on me probably because I have the time now to not let things stress me.
In over 40 years spannering i have never fitted a belt on one of those.

Quite a few also had different wheelbases left and right because of the suspension set-up- the R4 was one of them

Yeah I have a R4 too but hardly noticeable unlike the 16.

Fuckity **** ****. There’s me spending hours on suspension setup on the Mini and Renault just goes **** it. Can’t find an explanation why they thought it was a good idea. The Germans manage transverse torsion bars.
