Here’s a prediction.
We’re all gonna get fecked off with no liberty, no emotive cars, no freedom of speech, no meat, ugly Greta, no individuality, unidentifiable sexes, and feckwit politicians deciding what’s best for us.

I’m already waaaaay past the finish line.

I think others are catching me up.

This ‘expert’ denies people this.

No covid within miles.....everyone negative, no extra mourners at the funeral.

Later during the lockdown this fecker flies out of Melbourne. And does this!

Wake tf up.

As much as I want to, I can't argue with any of that :)

It is.
I’d wager that if politicians were docked 20-25% of wages per lockdown (those locked down are possibly losing everything) they’d soon stop.
What’s going on isn’t proportional to the risk to the general population.
We’re all being “Cyprused” and it’s astonishing how easy it’s been to achieve,

I said the same to the Mrs only yesterday, the same applies to the other experts who are in a similar position. Easy to say keep locked down when you're in no imminent risk of losing your job or having the entire sector in which you worked wiped out.

I never understand why the council has an obligation to provide school buses. You live in a rural area - as I do - then it's your problem to get your kids to school.

...whereas if you live in a city you are entitled to have taxpayer-subsidised road and public transport infrastructure?

Are we just flinging out random ranty noises, now? I can't tell with some of these which previously-mentioned thing people are ranting about. ;)

(I cheated a bit on the last, which is, I suppose, a virus-that-shall-not-be-named one. But that has two other whole threads of its own anyway)

give people a forum and they will use it….and for some strange reason will feel that they are suddenly experts just because there are another 50 odd people reading what they say :whocares:

Many of the 'rants' on this thread:

Lack conviction.
Have no purpose.
Are empty rhetoric.
Are boring to read.
Don't even qualify as whinges.

It is about time the moderators earned their keep and enforced standards!

:mad::mad::mad::mad::mad::mad: :mad::mad::mad::mad::mad::mad: :mad::mad::mad::mad::mad::mad:
I would but I'm just too angry at the injustice heaped upon me.

PS, there is no keep. We do it for the groupies and glamour.

Point of order: I don't see anything in that list that prevents anything from being a rant.
The worst accusation appears to be lack of conviction. Which is more poor show than non-rant

People largely make a lifestyle choice to send their kids to schools that are not within walking distance.

I live close to the fake Hertfordshire where Clarkson tested the F12 so have no complaints about my road infrastructure. I’m also led to believe that there is a bus shop somewhere near me that offers a once a week shopper service so I’m covered on that one too.

If you hear on the news of a man arrested for driving a Suzuki Swift with a mattress strapped to the side pushing cars from lane 3 into lane 1 on the M23. It would be me.
Honestly the M23 was reduced to one overtaking lane by a procession of idiots in lane 3 on a 4 lane 'smart' motorway ...why oh why oh WHY!
