So..excited, the centre box is coming out to fix the blows and being replaced with a new section :D
When you say blows Spoons where?
When cold they normally weep condensate all over the floor from a couple of points. The clamps are normally cracked or broken off too or will be as soon as they are touched. ;)

Sounds like you are going to have a great time over the winter getting this car to where you want it to be. For me, I am looking forward to seeing how the Blu Nettuno paint is looking once you get the wrap off as it's a much nicer colour.

I've been driving Maseratis' long enough to remember the chat when the 3200 and then 4200 were getting old and gradually disappearing as the costs of repairs began to be silly versus used values. It is obvious that we are now at that stage for the GranTurismo. The only hope is that they made so many more of them that aftermarket parts and donor cars/parts will be more available to keep quite a few on the road. Best of luck.

If you like it leave it. If their are issues under there the process of removing the wrap is in itself risky if the paint isn’t all original (which seems unlikely). There are a few horror stories about wrap removal taking all the clear coat with it for example and that’s a whole world of pain.

So I spoke to PK Supercars as they have their name on the plate. The car was owned by an investment company Soho wealth. Thats all they could or wanted to tell me. They did ask if the car had been wrapped and I haven't poked any further as it's clear they weren't too keen to divulge.

Yes, the paintwork could be tip top if its been wrapped early on, I can't help but think its bee wrapped to hide something, but who knows. I like the wrap.

And thanks to a very kind chap from Soho Wealth, here's a photo of the car before the wrap.

He gave me the link to the company who did it, as well as mentioned some very minor cosmetic damage.

Doesn't it look amazing in that colour!
Classy, the chrome looks very good on that colour plus the light interior finishes it off

Nice to see that the car had some polish on it so has been loved before.
I prefer the “unwrapped colour” but then it’s not my car :D

That is gorgeous and much better than that wrap and all the black badges. Very classy IMHO.
