What can I say, life is hard without a Maserati to drive! When one turns up in my favourite colour courtesy of Richard Grace and with a SportsItalia clean bill of health.....It then turns out to be the car I planned to be my first Maserati 6 years ago! It was being sold by Dick Lovett and I booked a test drive, only for it to be cancelled as it had been sold. The great news if that a well maintained Maserati can till feel and look like new at over 60k miles. Photos to follow.
Congratulations indeed.

Sorry for the delay on the obligatory photo but my new QP's first duties were as a funeral car so I have been distracted. After nearly 88 years of a great life my father passed away. As a petrol head himself, he will have appreciated me driving my mother there in the Maserati! He probably would have been happier were it on his old BSA Gold Star DBD34 but somehow doubt my mother would! 920849208592086

My condolences on your loss - but as you say, what a fitting tribute your new QP played in the proceedings.

That is an incredible driveway lineup. As someone that's positively taken by the 612 (and not as yet drive one), I'd be very curious to hear your compare/contrast of both vehicles...

This 2009 ZF 'box QPV has just popped up on my radar, does anyone know it...? I'm partial to blue interiors (not that it's the most important aspect) and might go and have a shuftie if I get the chance as it's not that far away....

Edit - am I right in thinking that the facelift grille is larger and a different shape to the earlier QPV?

Facelift has a different nose and larger grill. Has bose so carplay cannot be installed. I also hate these wheels with a passion. Makes the car look dull and boring.

I quite like this too, but would also echo the sentiments about the wheels... (a set of 19" Speedlines off a GranTurismo sold on eBay recently for £300 with part worn tyres on). Don't let the miles put you off if it's been looked after... I'd be wanting to see receipts for the service history, condition of the subframe and of course the obligatory PPI.

Plus you can nick someone's gts grill so no one will know its a 4.2. ;)

Sorry for yet another novice question as I'm not up on the later versions - do any of the facelift QPVs have a 'mesh' grille or do they all have the vertical slat type?
