I really liked the Polo GTi I had for about 18 months. Quick enough, reliable, efficient and didn't attract too much attention.

I love Lancias and one of the (very) few cars that I genuinely regret selling was my Beta Spyder. And turning an HPE into a sleeper car has been on my to do list for a while .... but this one looks too good to chop about. GLWS

It's the same with lots of manufacturers ... albeit BMW do seem to be taking the p1ss with this.

Just packing for Le Mans Classic

I am of the understanding that there will be a Classic in 2023 to coincide with 100th anniversary of Le Mans 24.

22 of us heading down in a selection of classics ... I will be in my TR6. We stay a few clicks north of the circuit but taxi in and out.

I have used Steve for PPIs on a couple of Ferrari purchases ... very good and highly regarded in F world but can't comment from personal experience on workshop.

IMO non standard small plates on the front of cars are a bad idea .... much better to run without one and claim it must have fallen off if ever stopped ;)

Given the way leathers flap at 200mph I'm really not convinced. More likely is that some clever clogs in marketing has realised that the Aprilia logo will now be visible in all rear facing footage aired on TV.

Gimmick IMO. The amount of turbulence coming off a rider and the riders continual movement changing airflow means it can't be effective? Surely?
