Seems unlikely to me that you would get enough smoke to satisfy a conclave from fuel alone. Does the amount of smoke vary based on how long it has been standing? Do you get any smoke on the overrun from higher revs? If it’s grey, does it smell of burnt oil or slightly sweet (coolant)?
