UPDATE- SOLVED! Turns out the starter solenoid contacts were worn and dirty- managed to get the end plate off and pulled the plunger with contact ring. Contacts are replaceable, but one cannot be changed without pulling the starter, so I cleaned and sanded them all and put it back together. I...

In the right rear of the boot is a panel- opened it up and there was a ground strap bolted to the body with some yellow paint and a wire with a 2 prong plug and nothing to attach it to- maybe the USA cars don't have this tracker device.

Yeah- T-20 which is the Ignition relay has power and ground, but it's not getting the control signal from the ECU when I turn the key- so I'm thinking it has to do with the immobilizer or just a fault in the ECU from changing the battery. Do you know where that box is located?

Thanks, I did that- pulled the fuse box out of the way and checked the connections- all good. Probed the cables in a few places and got good voltage. Gonna have to lift it up somehow and check the cable connection on the starter.

Thanks, I did not get those tracker devices with the car, unless they are hidden somewhere. Yes, the only thing that never fails on these cars is the "Go to Dealer " message.

I know they are not magic wands, but very essential in finding problems on all the newer cars. I am a DIY type, and to call out a technician once would be more than the scanner, which I will have in my toolbox forever.

Thanks- I have checked all those connections and the fuses etc.- all good, I'm waiting for a new scanner to arrive and check to see if I created a fault code one one of the modules.

No I don't get that message. Battery is good and connections are perfect- I'm suspecting a loose cable on the starter- which side of the motor is the starter- I don't have a hoist.

Yeah- did the battery disconnect thing. Foot on brake. Could be the brake pedal switch, will have to test it. I have a scanner, but it has all the cars except Maserati. I ordered a Foxwell 650 which should be here in a few days.

Yeah checked all the terminals- all tight- getting full 12.6 volts at the battery posts and also cable to cable. All the fuses on the module are good. What's the Tracker?
