Whats your option on service intervals? I know servicing is an important part of a cars maintenance but my car was last serviced 12 months ago but only 1700 miles covered since .The car is in good order other than a small oil leak, its 18 years old ,has a good service history but no receipts...

Thanks everyone for your comments ,I think I'm going to choose a Mercedes approved shop, will feel more confident of a good job or more chance of it being put right if I wasn't happy with it! The car is a lease car and if its not right I'll be paying for it when they come to collect at full term.

Yes they have. Insurance company have been great just not sure of their repairers although i'll probably end up using them and maybe get it checked by mercedes after repair as suggested by scaf.

sorry me again, I also need to replace the rubber button part of the fob , found a link to eBay on the forum from a few years ago but looks like not available ,can find one in germany but at £46 plus £20 postage sounds a bit excessive ! Anyone know where i could get these thanks
