Skipper's Canyon is great. Did it several times in my own car when I lived here but car hire companies refuse to cover you. The last time I drove over the Crown Range it wasn't sealed, so that was pretty challenging as well. The next time I come, I will probably buy a car and sell it when I...

You've covered a lot of ground in 3 weeks! I've been here nearly 7 weeks and haven't driven as far as you. My excuse is I'm a Kiwi and I'm with my UK missus and my UK daughter's family and we had to catch up with family. We still managed to visit a lot of places they hadn't seen before.

Hi Ian, I didn't have a fault with the central locking system, just the alarm. The key fob would lock and unlock the car, but unlocking the car didn't turn off the alarm. I had to have the alarm replaced by an authorised dealer as it needed to be programmed to match the keys and the car...

Sounds similar to what happened to mine. I might have this all wrong, but the clutch shares the same hydraulic system as the brakes. When the brakes are bled, the residual fluid in the clutch slave cylinder doesn't get changed and tends to solidify over time. I think the clutch pedal has to...

    Sportsitalia…the end

That's really sad news for you, Ash and the others, Matt. I only found out when I spoke to you earlier to change the date that I'd previously booked to take my car in for a new heater matrix. I can't believe the landlord did this to you guys. Bugger, I'll have to do the heater matrix myself...

Still lots of Flying Pigs in NZ. Many had a V8 Cleveland 351 transplanted back in the 70s/early 80s. Not always with good results.

4m/kWh is very good for such a big car. I've averaged 3.5m/kWh in my AWD Kia EV6 in the 2 years I've had it. It does a mix of mostly motorway, with some A-road and urban. Unfortunately I don't have a cheap night-time tariff but it is still a bit cheaper to run than the Maserati. :)

Right manufacturer, wrong answer. The answer they gave was their version of an off-road vehicle in the UK.
