Try some seal feed* on the window seals, or some graphite to lubricate the seals. You never know, if it's the window squeaking on the seal it might do the trick. *not fish!

It looks a load better than a phone cradle, too. On hot days my iPhone would overheat if left on a stick-on thing in the windscreen. Even with the aircon on, the sun on the back of the phone would send it over the edge. An over-heated phone when you're trying to use its satnav is a not useful thing.
