Every bike carrier I have ever used on any car has managed to find a way to leave some sort of damage. They're a menace. Tow-bar with a separate carrier trolley would be the safest way to go. Not cheap, but probably cheaper than a trip to the body shop!

Autoshield sorted me out. It was waaaaay out on two of the four wheels. That, and new tyres all round has made a noticeable difference to the handling. Now it feels like the car it's supposed to be!
