CHURCHILL INSURANCE RENEWAL PREMIUM UP 40%

I did the usual trick, logged into the usual top 6 Insurance Sites including my Admiral. Obtained quoted for the 3 cars + house, left them to stew their cookies for few days. Spoke with Admiral yesterday. It seems that they're all increasing premiums across the board around 40-50%. It has the...

CHURCHILL INSURANCE RENEWAL PREMIUM UP 40%

My Admiral up 50%, multi car and house. Oddly the crappy BMW X1 is now only £25 cheaper than the GT, and the Spider still cheap as chips. BMW playing it on with parts pricing?

GT - Sat Nav stuck on Maserati logo when it's cold

White screen is different to disk failure. Disk failure is a result of head crashes, and constant reboot. Look back through the thread where I advised replacement second hand NIT.

    Pic of the day

It does. Although essentially a Ford, it's at least 30% heavier, rides well and quiet. Practical and different. It's a shame Volvo has dissolved into 'white goods' territory

    Pic of the day

Sort of agree. I had one because it was reminiscent of the p1800 with its distinctive deep glass tail and different. Sort of agree, basically a well bolted together Ford mechanics, pretty bomb proof and still quite a few around

GT - Sat Nav stuck on Maserati logo when it's cold

Yes. But it's been a couple of years since I was supplying replacement HDs and take me a while to refresh my mind on hook up. If you've got the hook up kit and familiar with burning images I can share the files

    Maseratis - Spotted

Oh. Missed that. Plenty of niceish things on our road, including the nice deferent Aston Martin Volante saluting but would have been nice to see an MC20. Crawling, Stow on the Wold, closest settlement, confluence of several ancient roads east, west, north, south, tiny, high bottleneck...

What have you done to your Maserati today?

Always nice when an AM Volante flashes and salutes

    Sportsitalia…the end

That's sent a cold shudder, a tightening of the muscles around my aorta, clenched gluteus maximus. What the £uck am I going to do now?
