    2.8 ie biturbo wiring diagram

Hi, does anyone have a wiring diagram for a 2.8ie biturbo? The one in the car manual I have is definitely not matching my car. Specifically the cooling fans and AC. It's permanent live wiring for the fans but not for the AC and I am struggling to work out how the AC brings the fans on when the...

    Ethanol eaten my fuel pipes

On Saturday I discovered that my Biturbo Spyder had developed an enormous fuel leak which had me frantically pushing the car out of the garage in case it caused a fire. Turns out the fuel pipes had split at the filter inside the air filter box and on further inspection the whole tubing was in a...

    Anybody know this Merak?

https://www.historics.co.uk/buying/auctions/2020-11-28/cars/ref-28-1975-maserati-merak-jg/ I have always like the Merak. If the mileage is correct it is a crying shame that it's been so under used. Doubtless needs a whole lot of fettling to make it ready for action on a regular basis. Anyone...

    Ruote da Sogno

Call me optimistic but I’m still hoping to be in Modena again at some point this year. Probably not at the end of June though. Anyone visited this lot? https://www.ruotedasogno.com/en_gb/aboutus I came across them whilst looking at bikes for sale but they seem to have a lot of interesting stock.

    QPV rear suspension ball joint

Sorry if there’s already a thread for this that I’ve not seen but my QPV rear suspension has play in one of the ball joints and although I think it will pass the next MOT it will only get worse. Eurospares only sell the complete suspension assembly at £700 which is a pain. Anyone know of an...

Hi everyone, Great to hear everyone’s views and comments on ownership for Maserati. Loving the passion. I’ve been following people’s comments about what great value for money used QPV’s are and I couldn’t agree more. What I am surprised about, and please forgive me if I unintentionally upset...

    ECU repairs or replacements

Anyone know if Biturbo era ECU’s can be repaired? They’re Weber. I’ve got one that won’t let me adjust the fuel/air mixture and one that won’t power the fuel pump. Running on the fuel/air mixture fault one for now but don’t want to keep buying used replacements that develop faults. Thanks in...

    Variator actuator

Not sure if there's another thread on this subject or not but my 2007 Auto QP V has done 73k and I had the variators replaced at 40k. Last night I had a familiar rattling sounds from the LHS cam cover...... Fearing the worst I went to my brilliant local independent guy who plugged in the SD3...

    Anyone ordered a Levante S?

I'm told that there will be a Levante S available to test in the UK in July. I tested a diesel yesterday and found it to be a bit sluggish and unresponsive for my taste. The brakes also grabbed a bit at crawling speed in traffic. I'll be interested to see if the petrol engine variant overcomes...
