Exactly what I was saying with buying a different colour surround if it’s cheaper and only wants the new buttons Only flag being the same OEM buttons will still wear, only took 6 months with limited driving for my original new unit to start showing signs

Wow that’s a ridiculous price @Ryandoc ! Personally I would get them refinished…I bought a brand new replacement 1/R and in 6 months it was showing wear already. The only way to avoid it is to have them refinished otherwise you’ll just be in the Sam boat again down the line. I know Dicky Grace...

Was a simple fix for me on the GT...turned out to be the clock spring which I replaced with a £40 2nd hand ebay one. It looked like the wired connection had split/shorted Worth a try!

Likewise I’d normally prefer gloss like the black tridents I had on before but have to say the Matt finish is actually a good contrast. My GT is white though so not sure in your case being black on black but maybe in Matt it would set off the alloys from the car a little & make them stand out...
