    Heater blower

The condenser and drier were replaced about 6 months ago with genuine Maserati items, the system blows ice cold its just the noise from the compressor that is annoying.

    Heater blower

Thanks for the reply, it does indeed seem to be the AC compressor. Does anyone know how easy it is to change ?

    Heater blower

I have found a couple of "how to" guides on here regarding the heater matrix and fan and will give it a go later this month.

    Heater blower

I was thinking it could be a slight increase in voltage as the revs increase, I can't really think of anything else.

    Heater blower

The heater blower motor on my 3200 GT is making an annoying droning sound that rises and falls in line with the engine revs, I am guessing I am going to have to replace it and at the same time renew the heater matrix as a precaution, does anyone have an idea of the work involved ? I am not to...

    3200 rear caliper removal

Changing handbrake shoes, probably more Weetabix needed as I couldn't budge them with a standard spanner.

    3200 rear caliper removal

Does anyone have any tips on removing the two 19mm bolts holding the caliper to the disc ? I have tried an extra long ring spanner but as I don't have access to a lift and am using axle stands the spanner touches the floor so that solution doesn't work.

    3200 dashboard upper face.

The one I bought was a 4200 one and it had stitching around the binnacle although it was white stitching whereas the old one had black stitching.

    Where is it now ?

Does anyone know the whereabouts of a 3200 with reg no. W976 WRV, it's currently showing as SORN ? When I bought my current 3200 from Meridien Modena in Lyndhurst back in 2005 I was torn between this W reg. French blue example and the Rosso Mondial one I eventually bought but I let my head rule...

    3200 exhaust clamps

Having removed the remnants of the back box clamps I can see that the replacement back box pipe has no flare on it, because of this the garage that fitted them welded the triangular plate to the pipe so the two plates could tighten together. I have cut away the remainder of the welded plate...

    3200 exhaust clamps

No mines a bit different but I think the sleeving option may work if the area with the joint is straight enough, I'll measure the pipes outer dimensions tomorrow and order some sleeving, paste / tape and clamps.

    3200 exhaust clamps

What a good idea, I will measure up the pipe diameter and see if I can source some sleeving. The alternative are these ( link below ) but they would look a bit ugly...

    3200 exhaust clamps

The clamps that hold the back box pipes to the center section pipes on my car have disintegrated, they seem to have been two triangular shaped plates with three bolt holes in each plate, one plate is on the back box pipe and one is on the center pipe, with three nuts / bolts clamping the...

    Good old ABS

I have yet to find anyone that can repair the 3200 ABS ECU an I gave tried as far afield as the Netherlands. I managed to get a brand new one from a fellow owner but they are very expensive. I did contact Bosch and they said that if I return it to them through one of their service partners they...
