I think he was asking £29k-ish originally and it's been on the market now for a while. With the price down to £26k it's closer to the ballpark based on today's...

Well said... I was exaggerating somewhat when deploying the term 'ruinous', and of course everything is relative. Despite going into Maserati ownership with eyes wide open it still makes me wince when I see a bill north of £2k, which happened twice (almost three times) last year! All is soon...
