    3200/4200 Rear Control Arm

You don't have to replace the whole lower suspension arm anymore when the ball joint wears because you can buy one of these from https://www.autoepoca.it/brands/maserati-parts/suspension-maserati/ Cost 150 Euro....

Please Help - 2002 Spyder - Heater not working...no hot air from vents

Alas..my delight at having cured the problem was short-lived - its now reverted to blowing cold again and no amount tweaking the connector restores heat. So its back to the error codes. I'm getting AA 44 84 55 44 = Type = "AC or DC": Description = "AC or DC towards battery +": Cause =...

Restoring faded grey plastic windscreen moulding

Whilst fixing my heater problems I removed the grey plastic moulding that sits at the bottom of the windscreen - it was badly faded and looked pretty awful. So before putting everything back together I did a search on how I might get some colour back and came across this hack...I tried it and it...

Please Help - 2002 Spyder - Heater not working...no hot air from vents

Thanks for everyone's help so far.... I think I have narrowed it down to one or both of these...the ambient air temp on the dash shows "E" when I turn the ignition on, but then when I start the engine it shows correct temperature. I have carried out the HVAC reset procedure by pressing the...

Please Help - 2002 Spyder - Heater not working...no hot air from vents

All the HVAC controls appear to be working...all temperature changes show on the centre screen, the vent/demist all switch and work OK, but only cold air ever comes out of the vents. Car has only been used during summer months for several years now so I can't say how long the ventilation system...

Searching for a Spyder roof pump for <4000 GBP

"...the lighting control unit has failed..." My lights failed recently - took a while to trace, but turned out to be the bottom of the ashtray shorting on the bodywork. Check the 5A fuse number 28 - the lighting control unit is on that circuit.

Searching for a Spyder roof pump for <4000 GBP

One more thought - £4k new, and upwards £1k used is simply daylight robbery and approx 10x what it should cost even allowing for a Maserati premium. The hydraulics on a Spyder seem to be mostly assembled from generic parts used throughout the motor industry. There are convertible roof...

Searching for a Spyder roof pump for <4000 GBP

Here are a couple of pictures of an Astra pump - it has fewer of those vertical cylinders which I assume are electronically activated valves, but apart from that it is similar to that fitted to a Spyder. The valves themselves, the layout and configuration is all the same as was the pipework. The...
