Looks very nice although I am not a lover of the graphics on the roof.

If it sells, that should help future values

Everyone who has a proper 4 seat Strad knows they are more powerful and therefore faster and superior to the old 2 seater ;)
I’ve got no skin the game Stradale wise. As for the GranTurismo 4.7 in general they all come out **** poor of Fastest Laps such is the pace of automotive performance.

I agree, we don’t buy them because there are the fastest thing on the street, far from it.

I'd agree Sam. Nobody needs more than 400bhp in a road car these days and this is plenty for me to have an enjoyable spirited drive. They don't need to be track weapons to drive well on the road. Too many speed camera's/traps and obstacles to drive reasonably responsibly on the road these days.

The 4200 and V8 Vantage I had before with circa 400bhp is all the power I've ever needed. I'd have a Strad at some point if all the moons aligned. Of course I would prefer it to be a smidge smaller and lighter in an ideal world. I've got zero interest in most modern supercars these days. It has all gone a bit silly on price and power IMHO. I've never spent more than £26k on a car ever. Might need to break that for a Strad though!

That’s the best thing about them. Outdated is great. Otherwise you don’t get a N/A V8 snarling beast.
For sound they take some beating but they are heavy, slow and the tech is pretty old. I think any foray into the brand now would be MC20 but that would feel pretty underwhelming after the Peff. Nice problem to have. Harris seemed to say he'd have it over the usual Porkers and Fezza's of the time so it's great to see that Maserati are back!

I honestly believe that 460 bhp and 0-60 in 4.5 seconds is ample. Remember it’s a 4 seater, and a pretty practical car. Anything that does 0-60 under 3 seconds is simply too quick to enjoy on our roads. They’re nearly all turbo powered so aurally meh (like the MC20) and once you’re into fourth gear on full throttle you’re about 140mph. There aren’t the roads for them. The Performante has that sort of performance but one crucial difference, it sounds epic; so can be enjoyed through the gears.

The less tech the better as far as I am concerned! I definitely do not want touch screens, lane assist etc in a sports car. When i had a high spec/latest tech 600bhp M6, it was nowhere near as much fun as the Maserati. Give me 400 bhp of n/a over 600 turbo charged every day! How nice it would be if Ferrari went back to building small capacity V12s?
