2008 Granturismo ABS MSP fault

Hi, my 1st post on the forum is not a happy one. I bought my 2008 4.2 Maserati Granturismo in May as I have always thought it was the best looking car on the road but I have been disappointed by the soft ride and poor finish of the interior.
Now to add to my disappointment I have a fault indicating ABS / MSP failure, go to dealer. I have checked the forums and can see this appears to be a common fault, but I am struggling to find a positive outcome as to the source of the fault. I have checked the obvious and can not see any issues with my suspension, the ABS sensors on each wheel are consistent, between 4.9Mohm - 5.1Mohm on the rear and 3.45Mohm - 3.47Mohm on the front.
I have disconnected the battery and this made no difference, I have checked ALL fuses and none are blown or show signs of overheating. I have taken it for a 60 mile blast on several different roads fault lights are still coming on.
The fault lights now come on when I turn the ignition without starting the car.
I am in the north of Scotland so limited availability to MD or indi, although I will have to get this fixed before winter, and may have to travel if a good Indi is recommended.
Help as I am desperate to LOVE THIS CAR, but it proving to be a challenge.
