Maserati Granturismo for sale

I bought this car with the intention of keeping it for many years, however after just over a year I now find myself in a position where I could do with freeing up some cash to complete a house project, so I’m considering parting with it.

Grigio Granito with Cuoio Sella leather
35k
FSH - fantastic history, having been serviced and maintained by Joe Macari centre all its life. Last serviced October 18, 3k miles ago.
Just had an MOT, no advisories.
Drives brilliantly and it’s condition is as you would expect for a car with only 35k miles.

£22995 ono.

I think I can remember you buying the car Matt.
There were many positive comments about the interior.
Must admit. Wondering what to do with mine.

Were there photos of it parked in a wide leafy street with red brick houses?
SW18 ish? Just guessing ;)
I'm on the fence, to be honest. Love the car. Its been stored all winter. Prepped to sell.
There's nowhere for me to drive it over here, without tripping over the local traffic branch unit.
Probably get as much fun from a cheap simple rally car and use it at local amateur events.
That's whats in the back of my mind anyway. Who knows what I'll end up doing ;)

Yep that’s the one.

Funnily enough I’m thinking along the same lines, I’d love a mk2 escort. Had a mk1 Mexico a few years ago (when they were cheap!), have always regretted selling it.

Think we've all experienced those types of regrets Matt. Who knew, that certain Fords would develop so much value.

I think I saw a Skoda Estelle or similar on eBay recently. The saloon with the engine in the back. The seller claimed it was
mint, low miles, etc etc Wanted north of £5,000. That had me laughing. A very long time ago, I had a drive in one
a couple of times as a passenger. Probably the roughest vehicle I ever experienced. Apart from police and military vehicles
of many types.

Quick bump and

I’m open to offers on this one or a px. Would consider a 3200 / 4200 coupe if someone fancies a change or something else around £10-12k

No sorry it’s sold, after many time wasters. Selling a car these days is an horrific experience! The chap who bought it in the end was a genuine car enthusiast and it was a nice pain free transaction but I had so much hassle from others.
Forgive me if you felt I was a timewaster. I'm a genuine buyer but the lack of a service for two years and no record of the variators being done made me decide it wasnt for me. Looked like a lovely car with great miles but I am fairly set on what I won't compromise on. All the best.

No need to forgive you, I wasn’t referencing you when I said about time wasters, I must’ve had 20 calls from people saying I would regret not excepting there c£14k offer and a couple of abusive calls following rejected offers as well.

Not sure ‘lack of service for two years’ is the best way to look at it. It had been serviced religiously in accordance with the maintenance schedule every two years with no expense spared at each service. What it didn’t have was interim services above and beyond that recommended by Maserati. Due to it averaging 3k miles a year I didn’t feel it warranted it.

Concur! Cost of annual interim services has to be questioned when you do such low miles. I'm in the same boat now and considering to do or not as 12 months since last service but only just over 2k miles. I think I'm going to save the cash and not do it.
