Last one I promise!

Car has memory seats - I think they are called comfort. But the lumber support is really pronounced and pushed up/out. I can't see a way of reducing it. Was it possible to specify a 'hard' seat? Visibly it is different from the passenger seat that is not memory for some reason.

Thanks.

Passenger seats don't have memory.
The lumbar support should be adjustable vertically by using the seat back switch. Fore and aft controls recline, up and down controls the support, if memory serves.
Lumbar support position is not stored in the memory

Thanks Catman - sorry for the spelling - Lumbar. I'm going to take a look at the car now.

It worked. Weird though, I assumed that moving the seat switch up and down would raised the headrest - clearly it is the lumbar :) I now have a much better seating position. Thanks.

Lumbar support only works on the driver's seat.

Overall I think the seats are pretty hard and not massively comfortable, which makes my wife less inclined to think that long foreign jaunts by car aren't the best idea ever. They take a lot of buggering about with to get comfortable in my experience. Even after a couple of years the quest for a really good position continues.

Just as a passing comment, I actually find the seats to be v. comfortable for long journeys because they offer so much support. I think its also because I have a minor-dodgy-back and it helps, in contrast say to my Volvo where I feel my body is sagging after an hour or so...although that affliction may be age-related.......
