Saw this a long, long time ago and it always makes me smile.

I've had a really sh$t few years, mainly down to illness. So all the gains I made in fitness
over the past fifteen years have evaporated.
At 6'1" and a rower and rugby player since I was eleven, my weight has always been at
the higher end of the desirable range, so I don't pay much attention to it anymore.
Its all about BMI and shape. I never subscribed to fad diets or PTs. Simply managed
calories in and out. And wasn't obsessive about it. Changed chocs for fruit.
Bulked up on good veg for dinner etc. Managed portions.
Anyhoo. I'm starting on this regime again and will report progress.
Anything that I find particularly useful and is easily applied, I'll share.
Happy trails guys :)

I need to shift a few stone.
About 5/6 years ago was 17.5 stone and over a year dropped down to 15 stone, so was nearly no longer overweight according to the NHS at 6"4'
That drop due to diet, and looking back stress in my previous job played a point.
Over the last 4 years, and especially covid, I've jumped back up to 17 stone.
All my extra weight is in my belly.
However looking back at pictures when I was 15 stone, I look so drawn-out in the face, older, even though I was just about at my healthy weight./overweight point!
I don't have a double chin or anything but don't really want to loose much weight from my face, just my belly. Guess I don't have a choice though!
