Well done!

Currently hitting the low carb along with the no booze. Seems to be working pretty well but not sleeping too great.

Everything was going the wrong way in the new year. According to my spanky new scales I've lost 9lbs since Feb 1st which is nice. 1.7% body fat as well.

Good job mate.

I am staying motivated purely out of boredom I know once it's summer and I can socialise again it will start going the other way

Well I don't follow any regime's or special diets but having got back doing some automotive work and sorting out the 2CV on top of my normal laid back lifestyle here in France I'm back to 89 KG which I think is my happy spot.

When I started training back in September of last year I was 80kg, by January I was 84kg. After "bulking" for 8 weeks, I'm now just under 90kg.

This week I started "cutting" and my trainer is expecting to remove 7kg of fat by June to reveal a nice lean and muscular result.

Let's see what happens....

To achieve this we've added a cardio session to the 3 gym/weights sessions each week, so now it 4 days of working out. Plus running around and cycling with the kids at the weekends.

Diet wise, I've opted for buying the pre-made meals from prepchef which are around 500cal and 50g if protein in each. One for lunch and one for dinner.

Breakfast currently varies as we're bringing the calories down steadily rather than just dropping from 3,000 a day to 1,500 or less.

Happy days!

Well done Chris.

Despite the week on the road I mostly managed to eat low fat and even managed to knock another lb off, now down to 20st 7lb. A long way to go but I’ll take a couple of LB a week. On the plus side I actually couldn’t finish a couple of meals which means I’ve shrunk my gut.

Excellent stuff! I know I'll have a bad weekend, but back to it on Tuesday

Weight 71.2kg
Fat 23.2%
BMI 21.8
Water 55.8%

Weight 70.8kg
Fat 15.6%
BMI 21.4
Water 64.8%

I was always a bit suspicious of my scales and now I am pretty certain the fat and water readings having a mind of their own (or it's just BS)

I have lost a lot of body fat in the last month or so - I can see it in the mirror which is a little weird but good to see visible progress - very unlikely I am at 15% though.

PT says I have made good progress at home with my form particularly on upper and abs so she expects that from next weeks return to the gym we are going to take it to the next level of destruction. Will have to take it a little easy on leg day though as it will take about 3-4 sessions to get back to being able to squat press 140kg+ between doing laps of weighted walking lunges around the gym - not looking forward to being crippled for 3 days afterwards lol

Another sausage roll anyone , could do with adding a bit myself , seems there are no tips on here on trying to add weight, ive always eaten when im hungry regardless of the time of day , which is irregular at best

Despite all the extra exercise weight is staying pretty static but fitness and body tone are much improved even walking and riding pace are getting noticeably quicker so something must be going right

Consume more calories and use less than you consume. Lots of booze helps and is a very enjoyable part of the process.
You'll be fat as **** in no time. If you need any other fatness advice please don't hesitate to ask.

I am still plugging away in my quest to get below 80kg... and despite having re-introduced booze, I hit a new low today. I suspect the two days I’ve had this week feeling **** after the COVID vaccine have contributed to it, but I’m still claiming it as a victory!

current figures are below - compared to numbers on 1st Jan...

Weight - 87.3kg ———> 81.1kg
Body Fat - 25.4% ———> 22.8%
Lean mass - 65.1kg (so 22.2kg of fat) ———> 62.7kg (so 18.4kg of fat)
Body Water - 51.3% ———> 52%
Visceral Fat - 11.5 ———> 10.0
Metabolic age - 55yrs ———> 47yrs

I‘m not super happy about having lost 1.5kg of muscle, so the goal for next month is to gain some of that back.

Hope everyone else is doing well...
