Afternoon folks,

Was just wondering if anyone knows this Burgundy 3200, it may / may not turn out to be a serious proposition but as it's on my way home from work tomorrow I may as well have a shuftie. I'd gone off the idea of having a Maser for a while after taking a new 981 Cayman for an extended test drive last month (very impressive and much lighter than you'd think) but you know how it is when you start perusing Autotrader...

(Sort of looking at QPVs too, I've always liked these and have re-read the Brooklands Books road test reports on them this week... :jptongue:)

Cheers, Nidge ;-)

£20K for a 3200 GTA, low mileage for year..!! It might be an idea to drop a line to such as Richard Grace Cars (Sponsor) and maybe a Maserati independent in the midlands, see if they know the car:
MIDLANDS
http://www.davidaskew.co.uk/ Leicester. (PARTS)
http://www.shiltechperformancecars.com/ Units 9-10, Aerodrome Close, Loughborough. LE11 5RJ
http://www.ferrarimaserati.co.uk/ Migliore Cars. Unit 4, Buntsford Park Road, Bromsgrove. B60 3DX
http://www.thesupercarrooms.co.uk/ 132, Elm Drive, Hartlebury Trading Estate, Hartlebury, Worcestershire DY10 4JB.

Any information on the car is better than nothing..!!

Much as I love the 32 I would not consider it as a daily preferable over the Cayman.........as a weekend toy, yes, the 32 would have a big edge for power and rarity though. This looks a pristine example.

Many thanks gents and a great response - Robert, thanks for those links, duly noted!

(I was considering the Cayman as a replacement for my daily hack Alfa, still early days yet and I'm in no rush. Also, just spent nearly £3k on my '73 XJ6 which may have to go if I do crack on with somehting else... am at another of those 'car crossroads' which seems to happen every few years!).

Use mine now as a daily and it is much better for it. Do it, love it and you will not look back. Buy a low miler like this with great provenance and it will hold its value and maybe eventually rise in value. 4200's are just at the too new stage right now and there are more of them anyway.
