3200 Front Wish Bone Replacement

My front lower ball joints are shot. Now I know that this topic has been covered extensively in past years but I am not being lazy. I have trawled through the posts & I still can't fathom whether the 3200 lower front bones can be substituted with the temptingly cheap Eurospares £495 4200 pattern part. It was many years ago but I think Conaero said that he'd fitted 4200 units. What do people think please?
Front wishbone replacement is just one of a number of jobs the Old Girl has thrown up on her MOT pre-inspection. I'm also looking at both rear boxes, too many leds dead in a boomerang & two poorly calipers. Oh dear. Would have liked a Larini but I'm heading down to Walsall to have two new boxes fabricated. Not bad for £495. Well its a start.

I think the Eurospares pattern parts are ok, not heard any problems with them. I also think the 4200 and 3200 share the same suspension so the lower wishbones are the same, although I am not 100% sure on that one.

I am sure fronts will fit but the rears require different mounting brackets as the bushing area is thicker than the 3200 wishbones.

I’ve fitted the eurospares pattern part Front lower arm on my 3200 With no issues. Just had to remove the brackets and links for the 4200 headlight alignment which wasn’t needed on 3200.

The mounting brackets are fabricated anyway, so presumably these could be made so this woudl fit? Anyone done it?

Thanks. I'll definitely go with the 4200 patterns.
It is MIJ exhausts. Do they have a bad reputation? Naturally I would have liked something like the Larini but my first priority is just to get the Old Girl through the MoT. With this in mind I'll be off to see Marios at Auto shield for some further fettling. In fact I'll give him a ring now. I assume he'll be open again.

Okay Lads. Booked in for the Cambelt service with Marios. He confirmed what you were all saying, that the Eurospares 4200 pattern will fit. I think as it's going in to him, I'll be cowardly & let him fit the new wishbone.

Hi, I have the ES patterns on my 3200 for 10 000 km and they are just perfect. I posted some pics on the thread "front wishbone experience"
