Looking at getting a 3D printer has anyone had any experience with these

I bought one 5 years ago, it’s still in the box

Use them occasionally- flapjack pushers for a local organic food lot; holders for machining odd-shaped parts; my son has one for making architectural models. Tricky to get consistent results: slow, temp, humidity, fibre type etc
