I was very fortunate to spot this last night doing my daily refresh. Called them up at 9am and have put the deposit down unseen, they have subsequently sent a video through and intend to get there Saturday to have a look. Dicky - apologies we were after the same car, I promise I did see it off my own back last night and was not surprised to see a thread was started on this one! If for any reason I do not proceed I will give you the heads up to step in.
I am told the car has a new clutch and was serviced Feb, pads and tyres (P Zeros unfortunately) I am told are low on wear. On the face of it it seems a good price so fingers crossed condition in person is good. It comes with a 1 year warranty although this is with Warranty Wise, I don't know much about these but I am sceptical of third party warranties being of huge use.
I would appreciate any advice anyone has on inspecting the car. I am aware subframes are a big one but being honest I am not sure if I will know what to spot....is it as simple as getting it on a ramp and looking for any corrosion? Seems like a big recommendation here is to get these sealed asap. I will also be looking closely at the discs.
In my mind I always had the intention of getting a PPI, is this not needed buying from a main dealer?
