Am I right in thinking Martin that all the Le Mans and Euro trips you've been on and the old girl has not let you down once?

Testament to a good car.

I'd like to ask the car the same question: "So, 4200, of all the Europe trips and UK events you've ever been on, has Martin ever let you - or himself - down?". I suspect we may get a very different perspective on this particular relationship between man and machine.

The car has been faultless to Modena and back twice (2011/2014), le mans (2016 and 2017) , Viva España 2017. Brunty 2015, 2016? Llandow 2011, 2017.

Me on the otherhand...

Just a rumble from one corner, if you have a newly laid road near you you can hear it build up as you speed along. It's quite obvious as it's from one corner of the car. Mine went around 80k miles or so. They are really easy to replace too, around 16 bolts, five of which are to take the wheel off! I have a spare wheel bearing on the shelf too. Eurospares do get runs on them so may quote long lead times...

Thanks for the offer. I think they differ between years though if Ive managed to get to the truth of it...Something like ABS wire colour is the determining factor i believe...?
Mine started life as a feint noise. It increases with steering loads. Dead set it was the front drivers side..Now its grown louder I can't tell where it comes from...
Your description is feeding a growing fear that it is something more serious as I cant tell where its from anymore !!

You might be able to feel which corner is bad raising the car and spinning each wheel in turn, sometimes you can feel the roughness. My bearing has the blue cable.

Martin will be camp whatever car we're in for LM.
He sent me a photo of the stash of Campari he wants to bring. Fortunately the Spyder doesn't have rear seats and the boot is reserved for luggage so it won't fit.
