It might have automatically populated the form as being a spyder because maserati seemed to misregister several coupes as spyders on the dvla register

My 2006 QPV is registered on DVLA as a 2017, I've tried to change it but I suppose it's technically an import, supplied to Ireland from Charles Hurst as new, technically exported, then reimported to NI...

Incidentally, the original owner, CEO of Three Ireland (hence Irish plate 06-WD-3, Waterford) emailed me telling me he regrets selling it and would I sell it back. Gonna get some Aston Martin Rapide (non-S yet, too rich for me) shaped glasses and see.....

AM still a slush box tho, maybe I should try and get over that.....

@Wanderer That's very annoying you occasionally see JDM cars being misregsitered like that... The main problem is car tax implications as you will have to pay the 2017 rate for a 2000's car

Actually I pay the 2006 rate for RFL, no idea where it picks that up from, and I did two lengthy stints at DVLA Morriston, Swansea, on EVL and TachoNet. And got three speeding tickets which I could do nothing about!

It's about £235 or so that I pay...

The dealer had a V10 R8 I fancied, a google search of said dealership was enough to put me off.

I think the blacked out grille doesn't help............Kinda' gives the illusion that it has a larger aperture like the face-lift grille

Gees....fairly damning reviews!

The good ones look very suspicious at best! A little too contrived for me to be genuine...we all know what happens

It would appear my post was very much on topic to the OP..

I was discretely pointing the OP in Dicky's direction who seems to have first hand knowledge of the car itself. Your experience regarding the dealer is really useful too.
