4200 info center NIT broken

I know this is a common problem. The info center (not the screen) will not run. it just shows the Maserati logo.

After weeks of investigation and no joy from Clarion it is time to change the unit.

Does anyone know of a repair center?

what units have other people fitted that can provide radio/mp3 in the car?

Any ideas welcome.

Theres been a few issues like this in the Maserati Life forum. Could be a fuse in back of the nit. Search some threads in ML

I don't know if this is what the issue is but I do agree with Larry you should check it. That's what was wrong with mine when I first received the car. No sound or anything. Pic above of it's location.

Thanks. We checked the fuse 1st and it is ok. we have gone through most of the forums and tried many ideas.

I was aware that David Howson on the forum had a spare NIT he took apart. He may be able to help with parts/software/hardware.

Have you tried disconnecting the unit completely and see if it will reboot when reconnected..??

yes, we have installed a new battery, left the unit off and reset it about 10 times. never any change.
