Hello all. I have an 03 4200. I slammed the drivers door shut a bit too forcefully and the protective speaker mesh popped off. On looking at the speaker I was very surprised to see quite a few large holes in the paper element. My question is this : does anyone know of a direct replacement with good quality for the 4 main speakers. I don’t want to start messing with the head unit although I know someone is bound to mention the amp as well. Ta ta so kindly, neil

Couple of threads on the forum where focal upgrades were used.

The standard speakers are really poor quality.

Have a search on the forum for focal speaker upgrades it should return the various threads and exact focal model.

Fronts are an easy enough swap....pretty much like4like. Sound deadening kit is worthwhile...
Mids are a bit of a faff as the trim panel card needs cutting....Use the original grilles and you cant tell anyone messed with it !
Guess you can go as far as you like. No need to do more then fronts IMO.... I like the directional tweeters. And simply disconnect the OEM tweeters and leave them in for the oem look. You'll probably find you want them disconnected though.
Same goes for the parcel shelf units, Disconnect the them if you add Focal mids..
