Purchased my first Maserati today. 2015 Quattroporte GTS in full Dubai spec. White with red leather. Very low miles (less than 25,000) Maserati serviced, one owner car with a few ermmm "modifications" that may not last too long on the car. I`m probably going to get flamed but remember this is the middle east!

Looks a treat , and welcome to the forum Jonty, keep her well and truly garaged and out of that Dessert sun when not in use , we all know how it destroys the interiors , look forward to hearing more of your trident exploits as you get deeper into ownership

Welcome and enjoy.

I'm not a fan of white cars or red interiors but as it is a Maserati GTS I will forgive you ;)

Thankyou for the kind welcome! I've already looked at replacing some of the black accents with standard Maserati Chrome items from Scuderia parts, thing is I don't want it to end up half chrome half black. May even black the window chrome to complete it and see what that looks like.
With regards to the sun luckily we have a garage at home and work so no long periods in the sun.
I've never liked red interiors either but when in Rome.....
There is not a lot of choice of GTS Quattroporte cars in UAE, lots and Lots of v6s but I had to go full fat.
When I've picked her up I will post some better pics because those are awful. I almost rejected it unseen but in the flesh, although a bit "gangsta" as the wife said, it's still very good looking.

Nice car Jonny and that white will keep the internal temps down a bit. Love the red interior, adds at least 10mph to the top end...... and it will camouflage your sunburn ;)
What line of work are you in, I’ve got a few mates in Dubai.

Hi, never had red before. I think it suits it well. I had a rather interesting golden brown on an M6 cabrio before so I'm not averse to straying from sensible. The tints should help the Temps a bit as well. They may come off for a lighter 30% tint at some point. I work in the Golf industry, although not a lot currently going on for obvious reasons.

Cool, I was a Bahrain chap - did you ever play Riffa.
Are you a pro, if so I Wish I had your talent. Would stop me spoiling a long walk!
Enjoy the car.

LOL Im quite possibly the worst golfer in the world. Im more involved in construction and maintenance supply.
Heres a question for you all regarding service history. I put down a deposit pending acceptance of the service records. This is what I have had back bearing in mind the car was sold with a purported full Maserati history. First registered 1st July 2015 1st Service 3/10/16 9884km 2nd Service 10/1/18 22,716km 3rd Service 11/11/18 23,375km 4th? 5th Service 15/3/20 38,000 at Independent specialist garage on 28/1/2019 it had a 4th year warranty extension with Maserati dealer in Dubai So its missing a service in 2019 and the mileages between services are erratic. That doesnt worry me as some of the guys over here have multiple cars. I am buying with a full warranty so all Im really worried about is just how frowned on a skipped service is. It may turn out that the one service was done out of Maserati but would that have invalidated the 4th year warranty?

Only been to Bahrain once with the wife, I think she'd have punched me in the knackers of I suggested playing golf.
We had a great night out in Manama tho!

HI, nope don't know a Steve Coates. My wife passed out in hard Rock Cafe and I had to carry her home. Not before I finished her lurid blue cocktail and burger tho! Stayed at AL Areen palace back when it was a Banyan tree resort.

I believe, if the same as the Granturismo of the same period, service intervals are every 12500 miles or 2 years so I think the history is complete.
