Thick of the rotors should be stamped on the edges.
Welcome to the forum, Jonty, worked on some projects in the naughties in Bahrain and Sharjah, ATC Tower projects. The requirements for Bahrains was build it taller that the rest of the Middle East. Which is fine unless the lift breaks down.

I'd leave it as it is , if the white starts getting a bit much a different colour wrap with black would look OK

Welcome and congrats. White works in the Gulf, looks pants on Kensington High Street but perfectly tasteful where you are. I do like the interior.

PS didn’t your Dad impart the wisdom of life one you; never, ever drink anything blue.

I absolutely should have known that. I was made to drink some weird blue shite on my stag many moons ago.
All the cars I'd previously looked at were light tan or brown. As I'm only in the region for a few years I thought different would be good. As you say not going to go white and red in UK

aarghhh dreaded CEL came on as well and a strong smell of running rich from rear of car. Not a particularly auspicious start to ownership...…..

I know I'm mostly talking to myself but I wonder if I'm the quickest member from delivery to low loader? 4 days. I refused to drive it to dealership with CEL so they collect tomorrow AM.

Make sure you post on the low loader thread then!
You're getting the whole Maserati experience!
But seriously, I hope the dealership sorts it out and at least it should be under warranty.

I’m sure someone was talking the other day about their collection trip ending up on a low loader.

Your experience reminds me that my car went to the dealer twice within a month just after I bought it, due to issues that should have been checked and sorted by them before sale...a faulty alternator and dashboard lights not working... It was very frustrating, the problem was obviously poor check and preparation of the car prior to sale and my problems stopped once I got the car looked after by a good independent specialist..

So shes back now, was a fuel pressure sensor reading outside of set limits apparently. Reset and its not coming back on.
AC they say is working normally. Can anyone comment on AC effectiveness in 100F + on QP6? It`s cold for sure but my wife has a Mazda CX3 and its no way as cold as that on Max AC.

They are really long cars aren`t they. Looks good in the new garage though.
Nice GTS. Yeah about 5.2 meters long but the design hides the size. Yours is quite similar to my GTS, but you've got the blacked out aftermarket mods &
tinted headlights. I am also not a fan of that blacked out aftermarket parts look because I think it ages/dates the car and hides the detail.

Nice ! I don't understand the hatred for red interiors- I think they are what exotic cars are all about.

I had a Granturismo and Gransport in Kuwait (50+ degrees) and the AC was always perfect so I suspect that yours may need looking into.

What's the full Maserati experience? I've never had that. My car has been perfect except for the glove box getting stuck.

The highs of seeing the achingly beautiful lines, the crack of the exhaust when you fire it up and the theatre of watching your car being taken away on the low loader.
Followed by subsequent joyous reaquaintance having been fettled and your wallet lightened :)

I've priced up returning it to standard and low and behold, its actually not that bad for badges, trims, spraying wheels, roof etc. What is expensive is the headlights because theyre not tinted. The silver reflectors have been sprayed high gloss black. It`s actually a very good job. I expect I will keep car for a year then move on to an F car.

Thanks Ofenomeno99.

Car back in to the dealer today as still not happy with AC. Wife has a Mazda CX5 and its proper ice cold. GTS is at best slightly cool. Its not even height of summer so lets see what comes back.
