This is not my daily driver- I bought it as a project car just for something to keep busy. With all the covid stuff, I just don't get out and about as much as before- hate wearing that mask. So I'll just plod along and eventually figure it out. If I come up with any unusual fix I'll post it up here for others.Agreed mate, but he would likely diagnose your problem very quickly, DIY is fine if you know what you are doing. And scanners don’t just pop up and say, here is the fault, job done. Unfortunately, I don’t have the expertise you have, so rightly or wrongly eventually I call in the professionals. Trouble shooting is much different to DIY.
